Earring Looped wire Design

Earring Looped Wire Design

Earring looped wire design is one of my favourite pieces of jewelry. I made this earring and wore it to a friend's wedding a few months ago . I wanted something unsual and nice.

The dress I wore was pink chiffon so I chose pink swarovski crystals and sterling silver wire.

Earring looped wire design is simple to make. The hardest part is to ensure that the loop is done correctly and not out of shape. You may even find an easier way to make it. Be sure and send us a picture.

Make Earring Using Looped Wire, Sterling Silver Chain And Swarovski Beads.

Materials You'll Need:

2 swarovski crystal bi-cone fully-drilled (top to bottom), AB 4mm beads.

1 swarovski crystal teardrop fully drilled (top to bottom), AB bead 9.5 x 6mm

Sterling silver chain about 2.54 centimeters (1 inch). Medium links about 2 x 3mm or 2 x 4mm.

2 sterling silver 5.28 centimeters or 2 inch mediun or fine guage headpins.

Earring Findings: pair sterling silver fishhooks

Helpful Hints

With earring looped wire design, make sure that the gauge headpin you buy will go through the chainlink easily. The link must be larger than the circumference of the pin. I prefer the fine links but it takes a long time to get even the thinest headpin through.

Have more than two headpins on hand as you may have to do the loop more than once. it will take a little practice in order to get a perfect-looking loop.

The instructions are for one earring. Please double the material for two.

Headpins tend not to be very straight at times so, just hole them with your left fingures and use your right fingures to straighten them.

HOW TO Make An Earring Looped Wire Design:

1. Push the headpin, from the bottom, through the teardrop bead and 1 4mm bead.

2. Hold the two beads together and let them rest between your fingures with the left hand. keep the headpin in place.

3. While holding onto the beads use the round-nose pliers to gently bend the headpin in a curved position to form the loop. Leave at lease 13mm or 1/2 inch to wrap around.

4.Spend a little time working on the loop to make sure the curved is smooth and no kink is in it.

5 Push the second headpin through the loop and make another loop using only half of it this time, with the other half sticking out at the top. Snip off the head

If you don't act now while it's fresh in your mind, it will probably join the list of things you were always going to do but never quite got around to. Chances are you'll also miss some opportunities. Paul Clitheroe - Action - Opportunity
